My name is Fjonn Smith, and I started Olivier Toman in 2024.

At the time, I was still in school and spent countless evenings learning about watches, experimenting with different designs, and assembling pieces at my desk in Zurich. What started out of curiosity quickly turned into something much bigger.

I've always felt the urge to create something of my own.

While most people were thinking about what came next, I found myself thinking about what I could build. I wasn't drawn to watches because I was obsessed with collecting them. I was drawn to the idea of creating something tangible — something that started as an idea and ended up on someone's wrist.

That's what Olivier Toman became. A way to turn creativity, curiosity, and attention to detail into something real.

Olivier Toman was built around that idea. 
Not around mass production. Not around trends. But around creating watches that feel intentional.

Over the years, I built watches for friends, clients, and people who trusted me long before the brand had a clear direction. Those early pieces taught me a lot. They are the reason Olivier Toman exists today.
